Position Summary
As a Junior Service Technician at DSL, you will maintain and repair commercial food service equipment while providing excellent customer service. You’ll troubleshoot issues, perform minor repairs, and manage parts in your company vehicle, ensuring equipment stays up and running efficiently.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain & repair a variety of food service equipment
- Interact with our customers in a professional & courteous manner
- Assess & complete minor repairs quickly & accurately
- Maintain an accurate parts inventory in your company vehicle
What you’ll need:
- Valid class 5 driver’s license (daily travel is required)
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Experience in a technical role with a high level of customer interaction is preferred. DSL will train the right candidate for the job!
- Experience working with foodservice equipment especially if related to Taylor, Henny Penny, Franke Coffee systems, Ubert, Frontline or equivalent product lines is a definite asset
