Position Summary:
The Service Inside Sales representative, reports to the Vice President Service, this position is responsible for driving recurring service revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing service program opportunities across DSL’s customer base.
This role owns the service sales pipeline, supports Regional Service Managers in account growth, and ensures customer program agreements are executed and onboarded effectively. The successful candidate is proactive, data-driven and disciplined in managing opportunities from lead to close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Opportunity Development:
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities through various channels, including inbound inquiries, outbound calls, and emails.
- Utilize DSL reporting to identify potential customers and targets
- Assess potential customers to determine their needs and match them with appropriate solutions.
- Service Sales & Revenue Growth
- Promote and sell service-related products and programs (AIO, PM, etc)
- Work with existing prepaid PM (Preventive Maintenance) customers to transition them into recurring maintenance agreements.
- Present program values focusing on uptime, cost predictability and lifecycle extension
- Service Account Support & Retention:
- Act as the point of contact for designated service accounts to support program retention and renewal
- Assist with the development of service-related newsletter content and other service-related communication.
- Review replacement equipment and ensure programs are transferred over appropriately
- Customer Program Agreements and Onboarding:
- Facilitate the preparation, review, and execution of customer program agreements.
- Ensure accurate scope, asset coverage and pricing prior to agreement execution
- Guide new customers through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition and a positive start to their engagement.
- Confirm internal handoff completed to support successful program delivery
- Service Sales Pipeline & Data Management
- Accountable for achieving defined service program revenue and agreement growth target
- Maintain and track interactions and pipeline progress.
- Analyze service history, asset age and call frequency to proactively identify program opportunities
What you’ll need:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Completion of a post-secondary education as an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented, accuracy, timeliness, and possess excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
